Reality series Beyond the Edge puts contestants in a situation they probably haven’t faced before. The new CBS show features nine celebrities who trade their world of luxury to live in the dangerous jungles of Panama.
The players need to survivetorrential downpours, scorching heat, and deadly wildlife while living in the jungle. The series, which premiered on March 16, doesn’t have any judges or eliminations. It’s up to the contestants how far they’re willing to go. If they reach a breaking point, they can ring a bell to signal when they’re ready to go home.
The brave stars aren’t just doing this for the experience, it’s for a good cause. The longer they stay and the more challenges they win for their team, that means more money raised for their charities.At the end of the 14 days, the top two earners will go head to head in a final adventure to be crowned the Beyond the Edge champion and take home the most money for their chosen non-profits.
Singers, actors, and athletes. A total of nine famous personalities, split into two teams, braved the dangerous elements to take part in the series. The celebrities are:

- Actress Jodie Sweetin, charity: Girls Inc.
- TV personality Colton Underwood, charity: Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation
- TV personality Eboni K. Williams, charity: Safe Horizon
Beyond the Edge is hosted by Showtime sports announcer Mauro Ranallo. The series finale is set for Wednesday, May 18 and will be a two-hour event.
