What does it mean for examle sabo -kun,robin-chwan,nami-swann,Vergo-san

Oh you mean like the ending,so kun kind a of refers to young guys,as for chan it's used for more people, like lady's,babies, elder people, but Sanji says it as chwan, as for san it refers for everything "Mr,Ms" any of those could use it

(Edited by Shadow VS light)

Sama - Master (Luffy sama - Master Luffy)

I'm wondering why they say them in the first place

It's Japanese honorifics. Look them up.

(Edited by 12th Supernova)

maybe they used to called that or to respect that person. like sanji always admiring every lady he love.

(Edited by Genius lufffy)

Maybe to be able to tell between their gender and what they stand for

not quite. gender not the case, it stand for male and female.
