Chapter: Matters Of The Heart
Character: Alex
This chapter begins with Alex telling Fliss to wait by the radio. Alex then drops down the hole in the radio room. There is only 1 collectable obtainable by Alex in this chapter. There are actually 4 collectables in this chapter, but 3 of them are only available to player 2, in shared story mode. In shared story mode, player 1, would play as Alex and player 2, would play as Fliss. It is impossible to play as Fliss in this section, in solo story. I will cover these 3 collectables in a different part of the walkthrough. Olson soon shows up after Alex drops down the hole and a heartbeat QTE starts, but this heartbeat QTE doesn't really matter. Olson runs off either way.
After Olson goes away, Alex calls for Fliss to come down the hole with him and she drops down. Keep progressing through the rooms, until Alex says he thinks he can jump a gap. There are button QTE's here. Press

. After Alex jumps the gap, you will see a cutscene of Olson, dying of a heart attack. The scene will then go back to Alex and Fliss, who split up, because Fliss can't jump the gap.

Keep walking as Alex, until you reach a kitchen area. On the floor, to your left, is the last collectable of this run.

After this, walk through the door on the right to find Olson's dead body, being eaten by rats. Alex will go to pull the rats off of Olson's dead body, to get the distributor cap. There are 3 button QTE's here. Failing any of the 3 button QTE's will result in the distributor cap being destroyed. For this run, we want the distributor cap to stay intact. Press , 
, . The elevator shaft will then fall and rats will start scurrying up from the elevator shaft, at Alex.
Alex will then pick up a knife and start backing up. He will open a door to escape and there in front of him will be a bloody Olson, who is actually Fliss. There will be an action QTE here, but let the timer run out, you don't want to kill Fliss here. After the action QTE times out, Alex will say something.
Say:
BEWILDERED
Alex will step out of the room, still holding the knife up to Fliss. Alex will then begin hallucinating that a rat popped out of his chest. You will then have one last action QTE. You want the timer to run out, without doing anything again. If you press the QTE on Alex, he will stab himself and die, if you press the QTE on Fliss, Alex will stab and kill her. We want them both to live, so do nothing.
After doing nothing, Alex will calm down and see Fliss as herself. Alex then picks up the distributor cap and they go outside.
