Chicago Series Order: How to watch Fire, PD, Med & Justice? (2024)

The Chicago franchise known as One Chicago is one of the most successful franchises running on the NBC channel. It consists of four shows dedicated to characters in a particular field or profession.

The franchise format is quite similar to Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, where we follow the lives of a few characters in each show, with crossover events every season. If you’re looking for a proper watcher for all the shows, you’ve come to the right place.

One Chicago consists of four shows: Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Chicago Med, and Chicago Justice. Justice was canceled after one season, and the remaining shows are still running.

The timeline across seasons of all shows is linear. So, all one has to focus on is watching the shows in parallel every season to have enough context for the crossover episodes. Here’s the complete watch order and guide on how to go about the franchise.

1. Release Year Watch Order

The One Chicago universe has four main shows. Here are their original release dates, along with the number of seasons they have:

In 2021, One Chicago couldn’t do any crossover episodes due to COVID-19. This made fans even more eager for a crossover event in 2022. However, so far, there have been no crossover events in the ongoing seasons of Chicago Fire, PD, and Med.
