Yes, there are several IP models offer a cake function! Let’s talk about how the Instant Pot cake function works and what cake setting to use.
The type of Instant Pot cake you are making will determine usage. Here is a general guide when making cakein the IP:
Less (low) – Lighter moist cakes
Normal (medium) – Denser moist cakes
More (high) – New York style cheesecakes
What if your Instant Pot doesn’t have a “cake” function? No worries, you can still make a cake in the IP – but you most likely only want to make either cheesecakes or other dense cakes rather than a moist cake.
